First of all you will need a lot of rest. You will have to set up a daily routine that allows for extended periods of stress free relaxation. This time you can use for sleep, meditation, yoga, massages or anything else that you feel is recreational for you. Do not insist that you cannot “afford” this time - the symptoms of Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue will get worse and you will need even more time to recover. You will find that it is easier to adapt to your new situation and modify your targets in life accordingly. The second thing is to find drugs and dosages that do support this need for rest. Do not be shy to talk about these things with your doctor and try to observe as closely as possible how different drugs in different dosages are more helpful than others. The treatment of Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue indeed is very much about “fine-tuning” a drug therapy. And do not hesitate to experiment with alternatives like marihuana or kratom - of course in the legal frame that is set for such drugs by your state or your country. |
